It’s been on sale in north america for some time now, but the all-new Civic is about to hit UK dealers. The £18,235 price tag will net you an entry-level S-grade car with the 127bhp 1.0-litre VTEC turbo engine and a manual gearbox.
There won’t be any diesel engines from launch, so the only other engine available is a punchier 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo engine, while your transmission choices consist of either a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic. Trim levels start from S, move up to SE, SR and then EX, but no equipment levels have been announced just yet. However, we do know that Honda’s SENSING suite of safety kit is standard across the whole range, as Honda aims for a full five-star crash test rating from EuroNCAP.
